For my final look I thought I'd keep it quite simple. To show just how versatile this dress is, this look is based around a date night / night out. As the blue is quite bold, I have kept everything else plain and black, with a tiny hint of gold from the collar necklace. I'm really liking the combination of the vibrant blue with the rich gold! I didn't think a belt was necessary because the jacket added shape, and without a belt it seems more 'night out'. I think this outfit is perfect for a date night because I'd feel quite confident in the bright blue, and then the dainty golden collar necklace softens the outfit.
Look 3 - Date Night
Gold collar necklace - Primark / Black denim jacket - Oasis / Long socks - Topshop / Brogues - Clarks

The gold and the dark blue really compliment each other! Would never even have thought of it! You look very pretty :)

Oh me too, I love any sort of dainty, delicate gold jewellery x
DeleteWoah, I totally bought this dress a little bit ago, but haven't worn it yet! I've been struggling to style it (the high-low hem is pretty different for me), but this is giving me so much inspiration! All of your looks are so cute :)
ReplyDeleteWow really? That's so great, I'm glad I helped you out :) And I agree, that hem is a bit difficult for me, and I think if I don't wear the dress often enough then I'll take up the back hem to even it out, making it more wearable.
